you can jump in right now, or after the original campaign ends. cause the game will alter dialogue based on where you are, storywise. BUT. seeing how you're at level 33, i'd say it's PERFECT to jump into the DLC right now. it will give you new weapons to use in the main storyline and will add a bunch of hours to your playthrough.

Frozen Wilds is part of HZD. You can beat the game and the world 'resets' so you can do other stuff. FW on Hard is NOT easy. I didn't have all of the best weapons but did have 3 of the best Purple ones with max mods. There is new/better gear in FW that helped once I got a couple of them. 3.
